Great win @ Newton Chad. Big fan of the show. I'm a Minnesota native and a ABA trail fisherman. If you guys come up to MN to kick of the 2013 season, I'd love to help you not get spanked 3 years in a row.

I live in St. Louis Mo. and met Denny several years ago at Dennis sporting goods in Fenton Mo., we spent about an hour talking deer hunting and fishing. We talked some about Newton power plant in Ill. and I have fished there a lot with good success and greatly appreciate the information Denny provided. Could you give me some information as to where I might find one of Denny's wreckin stix for pitchin & flippin in model #dbws-pfs76. Thank You George Williams

Denny, 1986- Truman Res.- U.S. Bass tourney, tough weather conditions, two limits caught out of all of us fishing...remember that one? I ended up tied for 35th place. If you are going to continue to do MN shows feel free to give me a holler. Might be able to give you hand. Love the show....Jake (Mankato & Hackensack)

Gentlemen:
Enjoyed watching the small snippet of the "Battle", on Minnetonka.
I lived in the Twin Cities area for 23 years; I now live in Iowa. I still have fond memories of fishing Lake Minnetonka. In fact, I still think of it as my home lake. I bet jigs worked well there, due to all the milfoil and hydrilla. However, I caught my biggest bass ever near the Narrows Bridge, on a crank bait being reeled along a weedline. So, there are a variety of ways to catch them. (Oh yea...: "Senko"-type sinking worms worked well for me, too, especially around the boat docks and weedlines.)
Enough reminiscing on my part. I look forward to seeing the Minnetonka episode. I am sure I will recognize some of my favorite places.###

Dad and I both use rods that have a fairly heavy action with a lighter tip action that allows us to make more accurate presentations as cushions the hook set. I would reccommend at least a 7'4" rod for this application.

I really love the show & glad its back. Looking forward to another great season. It's great to see a father & son share their love & knowledge of bass fishing. It's really what outdoor tv should be. But I had a question what are the brand & model of fish gripper the Brauers used to weight their fish in the episode. They looked shorter & more compact than many of the others I've seen. After raving about the ardent cull system all last season my kids got it for me this Christmas. Thanks & God Bless.
